I Love produce purchased at markets or roadside, where you know that it's fresh. The price that you paid for the potatoes was a bargain. I love the look of those strawberries, I was so desperate for strawberries last weekend, I purchased a punnet from Woolies. Ahh biggest mistake ever, it was tasteless and bruised!Lindahttp://www.eatshowandtell.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8342095347008383107.post-75230695813280748132009-08-03T12:32:15.999+10:002009-08-03T12:32:15.999+10:00I loved this post. I loved them as the produce was generally fresh and it's a good feeling to have to be supporting local producers. Such a shame that some people ruin it for others.clekittyhttp://www.greentimes.com.au/index.phpnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8342095347008383107.post-20592406892562235292009-08-02T09:58:51.115+10:002009-08-02T09:58:51.115+10:00wow that's got the be the biggest strawberry i...wow that's got the be the biggest strawberry i've ever seen.Simon Leonghttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10876960777476668265noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8342095347008383107.post-70074488252822835032009-08-02T09:29:05.999+10:002009-08-02T09:29:05.999+10:00I love this post especially as I have driven those...I love this post especially as I have driven those same roads and picked up some wonderful produce when we were on our way to Pie in the Sky at Cowan. We got some super fresh quail's eggs and tamarillos and a couple of other things I can't remember but they were fantastic.

And yes I don't know why someone would just drive away without paying. Such a terrible thing to do! YOu're getting such fresh, cheap produce I don't understand that thinking at all :(Lorraine @ Not Quite Nigellahttp://www.notquitenigella.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8342095347008383107.post-44967825121605043422009-08-01T23:45:54.220+10:002009-08-01T23:45:54.220+10:00OMG! the strawberries are SO BIG! they're not ...OMG! the strawberries are SO BIG! they're not genetically modified are they?Khttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10630448829834189390noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8342095347008383107.post-1220102451364488202009-08-01T17:39:56.018+10:002009-08-01T17:39:56.018+10:00And no overpackaging! Your descriptions had my mouth watering and fantasising about the rural life but I know how hard it is to be a farmer.YaYahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14111676812426739385noreply@blogger.com
